The Clarence has recently undergone a huge transformation and has been totally refurbished to a very high standard.

We pride ourselves on the very high quality of the fresh, home cooked food and wide range of drinks, which include wines by the glass or bottle, real ales, spirits and Thwaites beers, we serve. A warm welcome is extended to everyone.

Situated on Preston New road on the main approach to Blackpool from the M55 we are easy to find and convenient for a delicious leisurely lunch or dinner, a relaxed evening out with friends or one of our renowned Sunday lunches where we offer a choice of roast beef, turkey or chicken with all the traditional trimmings for just 5.50 or two meals for 9.95.

Our menu is extensive and varied. There's something for everyone with everything like our huge all day breakfast, mouthwatering curries, sharing platters, traditional fish and chips, daily specials, vegetarian dishes, and kiddies menu etc, etc, etc.

Every Saturday evening we have live music in the Lounge bar.

There's a snooker table, dartboard, quiz machine and juke box in the games room.
